should i ask for a new ipod for Christmas, or wait a year until my contract is up to get an iphone?
ok, so i have an issue. i have a 4gb nano, but it only has about 500mb left of free space on it. i know im going to fill it up by this time next year…i was thinking about getting one of the new 16gb nanos with the camera in it,but im not sure if i want to do that, because my 2yr contract with at&t is up next november, and i was thinking about getting an iphone….i really dont want to get a new ipod and then get an iphone and just let the ipod sit and collect dust…what should i do? are iphones really worth it? [yes i know you have to have a data plan with iphones, but i already have unlimited data so it makes no difference] or should i just get a nano for Christmas? im really confused, and i would really appreciate your opinion :] thanks!
no, the plan isnt like $80. thats if your individual and you actually get suckeder into the $30 iphone data. whatim pretty sure my cousin did, was but the $10 unlimited data and add it with her iphone.im 99% sure that worked.and ialready have the $10 unlimited data [plus$20 unltd txt] and its only like $10 for my line on the family plan. so its not extra money for me to pay. and the reason i dont want to get an ipod and an iphone is because i feel like if i dont even use the dam ipod for a year, then its a waste of money. because i know if i get an iphone ill just use the ipod on there. im the type of person who is cheap when i just kinda want something, but if theres something specific that i really want ill pay the price if i know ill use it. however i dont like wasting money. lol
no point ti an iphone. plus, the plan for the iphone is super expensive: $80 a month per phone

Wait for the iphone, i think that’s the better choice. Just ask for money for a present.

I think it would be worth it to ask for the nano. I just got my 5th gen and I love it. Waiting a whole year for an iphone would probably suck so you might as well have a new toy to play with now. Besides your iphone may not be as much space as you think, you have other stuff on it too. Such as email, text messages, apps, pictures, your phone book, etc. Plus the data plan is like $30 for unlimited data and you might want to get apple care as I’m sure you already know in addition to you plan minutes and if you want a list you need a plan over $50 and that does not included your data it’s just the minutes. AnAnyway, they are cool to have but you have to think about what works for you. Oh yeah, one last thing, if you do get your nano you might want to get it at Walmart or Sam’s Club and get the product replacement plan. That way when it breaks in a year you can get the next years new generation for free. Just a thought. Have fun.
