Im 20 and have high blood pressure. why is this possible?
ok so im 20 years old. i have played sports through my whole life. I work out almost everyday and run and all that good stuff. the only supplements i take is protein shakes. my blood pressure is average at 143/80. I dont know what it is. i have never had any problems or past medical problems. and i dont have money or any insurace to see a doctor. will i be fine in the next 2 or 3 years, because by than i will be able to afford it?

When was the last time you used Super Glue to close a wound?
I had a small puncture wound on my thumb, but it split open and turned into a deep cut. It hurt like hell too.
I tried antibiotic and a Band Aid over night, but that did nothing.
So this morning I placed 2 drops of Super Glue inside it and held it shut until the glue took hold.
It’s still closed and doesn’t hurt at all!

How do I survive a 12 hour drive in a bare bones car?
We are going to New York this summer in a 2003 Venture with no armrests, and an AM/FM/tape radio
I can’t sleep in the car, there is not enough room with 6 people
I can’t read in the car, I will get carsick
The only way I can be entertained during a long drive is with electronics.
All my electronics will be depleted before the drive is complete
laptop lasts 1 hour (asus g51)
zune lasts 3 hours
PSP lasts 3 hours
we have an inverter, but it can only handle 1 computer at a time, and my dad is all about sharing it with the other 4 passengers (not including me or the driver)
sharing means I will be out of entertainment for as long as I don’t have power
I don’t have much of an imagination, so I can’t invent games to play while driving.

The Alphabet game with billboards and signs. The famous person name game when you have to come up in which you come up with a famous person whose name starts with the first letter of the previous person’s surname and double-lettered names reverse the order in which people answer (Adam Sandler>Sarah McLaughlin> Marilyn Monroe> Marco Polo).

We also play a game where we go through the alphabet to name various cities in Michigan or musical instruments or band names , etc (Adrian, MI> Battle Creek, MI> Cadillac, MI> Detroit, MI)

The most fun lately has been that I bought taboo and while the driver can’t safely make people guess the words on the card, he/she can always guess.

Do you have an iPod? You should be able to listen to tunes for the majority of that trip if you start off with a fully charged iPod.

Keeping that in mind, you mentioned that you can’t read in the vehicle because you get sick but what about listening to a book via your iPod? I bet you could find something worth listening to in that regard off of iTunes?? Good luck.

I met a girl and had been having a relationship with her for a few weeks when i realized the relationship wasn?

I started telling her that I love her but that we couldn’t be together. She then started making threats that she was going to commit suicide. I reported it to the police station. They told me if i really believed she would do it I could go to the hospital and petition for a 302. The first day I didn’t do it. On the second day when she again said she would kill herself and she grabbed the knife and ran in the bathroom and came out with her hand bandaged I again went to the police and reported it. This time I went to the hospital and petitioned for the 302 but it was denied. At that point I decided to go home and be done with her but she came to my house and again started threatening suicide. I tried to stop her. She left my house and walked back to my house the next morning uninvited. She lives over 2 miles away. She then started demanding I give her my cell phone. I did just to prevent her harming me or my vehicle. She went through it , got upset and started crying and carrying on. To prevent any mishaps I offered to take her home since she demanded I come home with her and stay there. She told me not to go to the police or she would do something. I went to hospital just to get to a phone so I could call cops and she broke my phone and destroyed my windshield wiper arm. I then went to get a PFA but she told me if i didn’t drop it she would charge me for rape. On christmas eve she flipped out on me and broke my laptop and destroyed my windshield then she called the police to claim it was a domestic dispute and told them I hit her. She continues to harass me and my family. The police at this point refuse to do anything about my complaints. She has even gone as far as try to get me arrested in another state by contacting people I know and telling lies. She went to my house and stole my car and then cut the spark plug wires as well as other wires. The police won’t give me a report. Now they have charged me for harassment and I have never hit her but yet the summons says I hit, punched, kick,…etc. her. What can I do? I don’t want to be framed in court. I just want my possessions repaired and for her to leave me alone. Please help. She has now come to my house and broke in and hit me and still the police won’t do anything.

This situation seems almost overwhelming. Why did you not call the police when she was breaking your stuff? If your phone was broken why did you not go to a neighbors house or yell for someone to call the police? If the police were not there then they have to speak with both parties and develope a version in between the two different statements they get. It might not be that they won’t help you but they don’t feel that they Can or Should help you.

You should have made reports from the beginning about her threatening suicide if you left her and each time she showed up then went to the county and filed for a Protection from Stalking order. Now it appears you have DV charges so you need a good lawyer to be able to properly enter your side of the story into the court hearings. He will have to put her on the stand and impeach her (make her look bad). If he does the judge might rule you innocent and then you will have to retry for a PF Stalking order. Hope this helps a little

if the police and state government wont help you, go viral, get loud.

get the people who have witnessed all this together, and contact the media stations, make the town papers, complain about how you have been harassed but the police just wont help you, inspire local outrage, get people to look more closely at law enforcement. this will force them to act if they have been neglecting your case.

hello there! first im fourteen? don’t know if that has anything to do with it, second this is very real,third i am a girl. okay lets get straight to the point! on sunday night, going on monday, I was about half way asleep, when I started to hear a loud buzzing, not buzzing but high pitched like… a very high music note soon it because so loud i couldn’t sleep. then I couldn’t move my arms,legs i was very awake now! like i was a magnet on a refrigerator and litterly could not move what so ever. I couldn’t speak my throat was dry, so in my mind i was saying the lords prayer, because i don’t know what the hell is happening to me. I was crying this lasted about fifteen second? maybe more as i said i was crying so i told my mom and asked her to say the lords prayer with me. she did, i kept wake up in the night feeling hmm… pressure? maybe at my feet like the covers but stronger like a dogs paw but we don’t have a dog, anways i couldn’t see this thing that was cause ing pressure so i whent back to sleep. yeasterday morning i woke up, walked around and layed in my bed, this time it happend again but i was trying to move my hand up. i couldn’t lift my arm. but i could lift my hand (my wrist and above) I ignored this as well I personly think I might have a mental illness but i mean im fourteen this is not normal. It happend a third time, I was laying in my sisters bed, asking her to sleep with me, by this time i was scared again i felt the pressure, and the ringing. she however was dead asleep. about ten minutes ago i was laying down, about to fall asleep when i noticed the light going throught our curtain… this is the last straw why i think im crazy i could see a face almost in the curtains. So i fell asleep with this image lingering in my mind. i had a DREAM this was happening to me, when i woke up my heart was extremly fast and once again i herd the rining. I don’t know whats happening to me, could you guys please list a list of mental illnesses related to this>? thank you this is not a joke i really think im crazy, or like have a brain nuron out of place, oh i said the lords prayer because i was so scared it seeme dlike the right thing to do. please help! thank you

The sound is normal! Everyone gets that every now and then, it’s called tinnitus - ringing in the ears.

But if you can’t move at times, you have to see a doctor. You aren’t crazy, it sounds like you could have something called Sleep Paralysis - look it up. I hope you feel better soon

What could happen to me?
I’m an Australian living in the U.S.A, had a beautiful baby boy and my husband and I are the happiest parents in the world! (he is a u.s marine) I applied for my i-485 back in november 2008. I went to my i-485 interview and they asked me for a certified court desposition that there were no convictions against me. (something minor that happened in las vegas back in 2006 j-walking) My case was dismissed, however when i called the LV police department and the courthouse where it would be filed they said they had not one single piece of information on me. They sent me a piece of paper stating that no information could be found on me, so i sent this to USCIS and didn’t hear back from them.
I made an appointment to see USCIS but had to cancel my appointment as an immediate family member has fallen critically ill and has been in ICU for 4 weeks now. (at this stage the family member wont make it and have only so much time and I wish to stay here until her last stages)
If my application gets denied will i be deported and get taken away from my husband and son?

It’s an attempt to keep Iraq stable until the Iraqis can do it all for themselves, if we leave now the void will be filled up by Iran, and innocent Iraqi people would be murdered int he tens of thousands or have to submit to the will of a few powerful men. If they were the wrong people we would end up fighting there again soon. If the Iraqi’s had all cooperated when we first drove out Saddam we have already been long gone. The problem is they have had a hard time agreeing who is going to run the place.

Why does it matter if we are there? Our military needs to be somewhere. Even at home young soldiers die. They die of violence or accidents. Iraq provides our military excellent training opportunities. Afghanistan even more. Ironically, our wars have made us stronger.
